Welcome to my classroom

 Hi Everyone, My name is Mrs. Brisson.  I am very excited to meet you all and am looking forward to a really fun year!  I can't wait to learn all about you.  Let me tell you some things about me.  I have been teaching first grade at South School for 19 years!!  Before that, I was a paraprofessional here for 4 years.  I live in Rhode Island with my husband, two children, our dog Gump, and our cat Eve.  Lilly is going into eighth grade this year at Somerset Middle School and Wyatt is going into fourth grade at North Elementary!!!!.  We have had a very fun and busy summer and I am sure that you all have had a great summer, too. We did a big trip to Aruba this summer with my whole family (all 23 of us). I can't wait to tell you all about it and hear all about your adventures this summer. This website will be used to communicate with you and your families to keep you updated on all the fun things going on in first grade, although Class Dojo will be maintained more.  Please explore and come back often to check for updates!! The "What's Going On?" tab will be updated weekly.  The "classroom"tab, "supplies"tab, and "family projects"tab will be updated as needed.  But go check out the "family project"tab...you already have homework :)
We will also be using Class Dojo this year.  I used it with my class last year and it was a huge success! I have already sent out invitations for Class Dojo for families that didn't use it last year.!
